Executive Director Wendy Roy receives a donation from PBC Account Executive John Weber. The Grand Rapids Area Community Foundation is a trust - a collection of endowment funds that are contributed by individuals, corporations and community service organizations to benefit the geographical area of Grand Rapids.
Itasca County YMCA
Paul Bunyan Communications made a donation to the Itasca County YMCA. The Itasca County YMCA provides a welcoming place for the entire community and offers a variety of programs, including childcare, sports, swimming lessons, senior programs, family activities, health and wellness classes, and more. Bemidji Community Food Shelf
The Bemidji Community Food Shelf provides emergency food to families or individuals who have short-term, emergency food needs. Service is provided to residents of Beltrami County all other all other means have been exhausted to obtain food. In 2011, the food shelf served 27,467 people. Chief Bemidji Statue Project
Paul Bunyan Communications recently made a donation to the Chief Bemidji Statue Project. This public art project which supports the vision of creating a new, high quality bronze statue of Shaynowishkung, a statue that will depict him in a realistic, dignified and respectful manner and that will honor him and the Anishinaabe people of our region. The statue will be located in the redeveloped Library Park area.
